Sumbiling 'stranded' Eco Village Fun time 180909 ~

Welcome back... as i have promise you that
we will have lots more activities comming up,

here i bring to you an Eco Village Trip located at Sumbiling, Temburong

Most and first of all i would like to thank Uncle Leslie & Amin for bringing

me to this wonderful journey... it was so fun that i couldn't say no for the next trip.

(if there's another :))

Actually, me and amin wasn't planning to sleep over there
since we both had things to do... it was few days before raya though,

he had to go for his family function and i had to WORK! then after a half day

jungle trekking in rain and swimming, river floating and videoing,

(we had MFT assignment)
we decided to go back to BSB, but you know what, we forgoten that its fasting month
and transportation, water taxies worked shorter period than usual...

so instead of 430 the last boat was 400! and we just notice when the clock

struct 350! my god! so we were like STUCK...

so then we made phone calls and the signal sucks man! Thank God

i got bring extra cloth... i was woried bout my work but then thanks

to ECXK and KYKY on their fast brain... then Uncle Leslie laugh at us and so as

the others... then we told them we have to leave by noon the next day..

so after that, when everything is settle, we decided to jump in the water and float

and relive stress in those tube... it was really stress relive... then the other join us too,

Nadia, Bubu and Peter (me and amin's junior). Then we head for shower after that..

that's the first time i was like naked in open shower! haha!

well, not actually naked in OPEN shower, but it was like a wall only

made of zinc and bamboo and the bamboo was like see-through!

(bambboo is not a perfect straight, so it makes alot of holes)

but then a layer of cement is covering the middle and seperated

the male and female's toilet... so its safe..

BUTTT.. above of your head is total no-covering...

well, no one would climb so high to do such stupid thing right?

then we head to kitchen where the local villagers,
Apai's friends and relatives came along to join us.. oh ya!

Apai is the owner of the land and Uncle Leslie is the one who runs this land...

(says Amin) so yea.. i went over to help Nad in kitchen..

we got no rice so we had to cook instant noodles (curry noodles and Mee Goreng)

haha! it was fun tho! and imagine you only have,

salt, sugar, some soy sauce, bbq sauce, tabasco and Ajinamoto, and you need
to cook mucles... that's what we cook.. with limited resources.. and we mix everything.

it tasted nice too as it is covered with bbq sauce... and we have grilled chicken tails
bbq chicken. Nice.. well, we had something else.. haha... thats a secret..
then after food, we went to buy something out side SEV, so we had to walk out from SEV

with no torchlight! well, only peter and Nad has one.. but its not really working...

imagine what did i stepped on.. hahaha!! i held amin as tight as i possible! Gosh...

there was bubu following and he is so brave that he do't need anything!

we had to use flash light from amin's phone..

but the thing is it is blinking all the way and hard to see...

we went to buy stuffs and i bought toothbrush and 15pcs of plasters!

cause i really had a nasty blisters behind my foot and its all plastic shoe's fault..

i bought water and crackers too.. i was bit sleepy that time..

back at SEV, man we had to walk back again.. floor is slippery...

i nearly fell twice! and then bubu got his feet stuck in a rotten bamboo!

ouch! back at SEV we hangaroung for few minutes then we go and get all

camp and sleeping bags from store.. Uncle Leslie ask amin to make up

the camp early as u know... Girls and open space night = not fun + scary..

we set up everything and we all share camp.. man u should see there is

a team of 30+ BEES above our head as the light is still on.. eewwwuu..

then we went "bed" Nad and Peter share a camp, Me and Amin,

Bubu and Uncle Leslie.. then we girls had to stayed awake as the

GUYS SNORES!!!!!

real bad.. we end up getting too tired and sleep at last.

then next morning, early in the morning was awaken by Nasir our driver and SEV

member.. then we went to wash up, then without ready for anyting, the guys

ATE DURIAN IN EARLY IN THE MORNING! 0830am.. me and nad had cup noodles

then Uncle Leslie ask us to wear wet clothes cause he said we are going to do

Water Rafting early in the morning! and the water is sooo god damnnn cold!!

so yea, there we go, wear wet cloth and ready for today's challenge.

we gonna do team building and survival test.. it was exciting.. then we went

for warming up by river floating and we get to see FISH DOCTOR!

man it ate something off our feet.. but us nehh.. uncle leslie yea..

then we float over from end to end then we were brought back to

the start point and start to construct a raft.. with using,

bamboo or long light log, strings and tube.. haha.. then we learn how

to tie it up and do knots... then off we goo... to another end again.

then Survival Test.. where we are in the water with only life jacket on...

that was scarry but then we had partners.. mine as usual Amin to the SOS..

after that, we showered and packed. ready to leave SEV. otw back we

went to tamu and bought famous Cendul Temburong and i bought my fav cakoi!!!

then we visit TIC temburong and then we head to jetty and back home.

Plus sorry my photos are all jumbled up... cause i grab it from my FB,

Journey begins!

This is a kind of leaves that is belived to cure any itch or pain..

you just have to crush and rub..

This is called 'Pokok Orang Kaya" or AKA, The Rich Man's Tree

it was named like that because it sheds its skin like

snake everytime it has new skin developing inside. so the outer skin

which is still in good condition is wasted... yea like rich man tho!

pretty huh?

and guess what? we found Ginseng (Apai says so)...

i never know what it look like.. so yea..

This is Anelope Fern? i think so.. (Amin says so)

Perfume flower.. body shop, face shop, skinfood.. what ever shop

use this.. hahahha.. nehhh.. im joking

this flower smells really good and relaxing.. we smelt it 1 metre away..

just imagine that..

Forest Grape, cannot be eaten.. but looks sweet..

i don't know what flower specis is this but for the local,

it is belived to help children that had difficulties in starting to

learn how to walk (can't walk yet in the age of 1-3), just cut down the stem,

and hit it lightly on the child's knee 3x and miracle happens! gee..

This is the pit stop when i was almost faint for 2 x!

I was so wanna faint but i still can vain for a while...

this is a few meter walk from the pit stop just now, and

trust me, the water is sooo cool and cold and spring water!

what? yea.. we drink it directly.. it was like soooo refreshing...

Really, trust me, if u were there, you would wish that you can dipped

in it and don't wanna come out... its better than bathtub..

The water is crystal clear that you can even see the river bed

Hey wait.. i don't remember i went in to this forest ALONE!!

where soldiers came to practice gun shots... and helicopter's landing area..

we even found some bullet case.. but we couldn't take it with us.. its illegal

and if caught, JAIL!

so we decided to head back using the same trail, and yea..

it rains.. heavily.. i love it.. it was long time ago when i last play with rain..

See what i mean, its jumbled up, actually this is the 1st building

in temburong that i saw that is somewhat morden..

Amin says its the only shopping mall..and we just arived here..
